I bumped into one topic where the starter was very furious about a certain mylot user who gave a negative feedback about her discussion. She was mad that the negative comment could affect her current rating, after all she have a 10 star rating.
It makes me wonder, what is more important the rating or the earning? For me the rating shows the way I have treated every discussion and define in some sort my desire to really convey my opinion about the topic. By the way this is only my own opinion and not meant to offend anyone out there.
How about you, are you concerned about your rating and what do you do to improve it?

i'm not concerned with my ratings either as long as our earnings are not affected by our ratings. it's fine by me if they want to lower my reputation and if that's what would make them happy

I don't even look at my rating, so its not really important to me even the earnings. It's just there and I am fine with them. I started out with the intention of earning additional bucks but the earnings here is so measely that I decided not to count on it anymore. However, I love being here and this has become my outlet, so i stayed here. Different reasons for different persons for being here and my reason has changed over time.

Good day CD!
I have also joined mylot with the intention of getting some money out of it. I can really tell that you have enjoy your stay here just looking at your number of responses and mylot rating (congratulation you're a 10 star rated user).
I also agree with you, I think it's not the rating or money that's important but the enjoyment and pleasure you get from what you are doing.
