Computer Language

does any body know of any good sites to learn computer language (c++, java, etc.) that's explained in a way that even a dummy like me can understand it. i've checked out a couple, but they always lose me after like 2 pages.

If you are really interested to learn programming language then you can choose to read books rather than online websites. Most online websites are for intermediates and are unsuitable for dummies. I have also found many problem in this type of things. Still i can recommend you some site which are for dummies. They are www.classroomdoor.com www.latitudeu.com www.ilearn.ivillage.com You can check these sites for the courses if available.

I know the feeling well. Dry reading! They never have a decent plot or story line to hold your attention, do they? No sorry, I'm no help. I just bought a book and ploughed my way through it. I did do a magazine tutorial on c+ many years ago which was quite helpful.

yeah, i usually get past the "Hello World" part...then they totally lose me.

i also think you should buy a book instead of studying online. There are many good programming books now and you can choose from them as you want.
