Internet Outage?

We have had this problem in my area in Florida alot. We have not had a full week of internet service in the two years that we have been with Comcast. With in the last 3 weeks we have had a service tech at our home once a week. The funny thing is that they like to try to say it is my computer. I moved our service to the biz department at Comcast. I pay about $5.00 more per month but the service has been working for the most part ok. The bad thing is that you have Comcast, Sat (of course you loose tv when it rains) or airal. Not much of a choice. However the state of Florida is trying to fix that problem.

Comcast bought out Insight and took over our cable and internet services a month or so ago. Since that happened, I have had problems with my cable box and I have had problems today with the internet going in and out like you say. I hope that they do a better job or I will see about getting my internet through someone else.

I have been having this problem for a while now as it is constantly going up and down. It may go down while I am responding to your topic. Other people that I know have been having this same problem and it was in the newspaper yesterday that they are in trouble with the FCC for their handling of internet usage. Once Verizon FIOS is available here I will be switching my tv and internet over to them and will never use Comcast again. It is very annoying to have disrupted internet service, especially if you work from home or have to do work using the internet.

Yes we did! Our internet at home was also off and on. I called Comcast and they blamed it on my equipment. I changed some wires to my Router and everything seemed OK. I asked the Customer Service person about system wide problems, He said there were none.

My internet is ALWAYS in and out. Just tonight i got kicked offline 2 times! I always call and i always complain to them about it. They come at like every 2 - 3 months to fix it. It is a constant problem. I can't even begin to describe how much i HATE comcast. It isn't just the internet the cable goes out also. Last night i was in the middle of watching law and order and it froze for about 20 minutes! Comcast is so annoying but there really isn't anything else around where we live that isn't dial up. It is soo annoying!!!!!!!!!!
