What's your goal for the month here on myLot?

For the longest time of being a member here I didnt have any goals that I tried for up until recently LOL The problem with certain goals in here for me is life tends to get in the way...this month though i'm going to try for a $50 payout..

i wish i could make as more posts as you guys can make. but i am still working so i only had the chance to log on when lunch breaks. besides, here in manila we worked more than 8 hours a day. when i got home i was almost tired and exhausted. and besides i still have my father and my younger sister to compete with the internet and the computer at night. but i will really try as hard as i can. so i can share more with you guys. anyways, i hope i can earn a little too here in mylot so i could save money to buy my own laptop one day. it'll be more and more posting for me then. happy mylotting guys! good luck to all of us!

Hi, Gab. Everytime I read a discussion about goals at myLot I think to myself that I am going to start setting here. But then another month goes by and I don't do it. The funny thing is that I am a goal setter in my everyday life. I guess I don't want anything to take the fun out of myLot for me.

I don't set goal on mylot anymore because I never reach them. I just try to make sure that I can post at least 6 responses a day and 1 or 2 discussions a month. I really wish there were more hours in a day so I could spend more time here to reach my mylot goals.

I am really disappointed after reading this post. I thought your earnings up to the 15th were calculated and give to you not just your earnings upto the 1st. Now I think about it this would be difficult to do, but that means that I am not going to reach payout until next month. Hopefully I can get a lot of money for next month then.

Hy, Well I have the similar goals her on mylot as you, the difference is that 10 $ is enugh for me and 500 posts, I don;t have so much tome to write, so I have littler dreams, Soryy for the late sesponse, Greet.

Personally I think I am going to try and shoot for 7,000 on here if I can. That still means I have a lot of posting to do, and that also means I would be very satisfied with my Earnings for the month as well if I do make this. If not, I hope I can at least say I tried. We are also trying to get our Condo ready to be listed on the Market, so I have a lot of other things to do as well. Good Luck on reaching your Goal for the month as well.

I do not bother setting goals because it would really be a distraction for me. I am quite happy to spend a little time here in a social sense, although I do admit that the extra few dollars is very welcome. If I started to aim at a goal then I would be thinking of the target rather than browsing for something of interest here.

Well my goal for last month were to reach the $10 payout but it seems like i had failed but hopefully i can reach it by this month still have half way to go .

I try to set myself goals for the month. I find it can be beneficial. I managed to make mine for last month which was to make $30. Of course earnings are still estimate but it's showing just over that amount so hoping I keep it. For May I'd like to beat that amount at try to earn $35. If I get more of course that is always great but I'd be happy with that. It's just a matter of making sure I am very active on here and continue to try to make quality posts. Doesn't always happen the way I want but going to try. I'm just going to try to keep track of my earnings to see if it looks like I will.

Well since its the start of a new month its good to set a goal for yourself. I have a few goals in mind that I would like to accomplish first is to post everyday if I can since last month there were days that I didnt post and that really hurt my earnings here. Also I would like to earn more then $10 on here which I know I can if I post everyday on here should be no problem. Hopefully I will achieve both goals.

hi gabe. seeing that i've made $2.50 and was able to post 250 plus posts in half a month, i'm gunning to double both my earnings and post by the end of may. of course, i'm really hoping that i exceed my month-end goals by a good number and i'm already lining up some adjustments that i'll be doing to do such a thing. goodluck on meeting your goals. same goes to the other mylotters out there. cheers and here's wishing everyoen at mylot a profitable month of may!!!

My goal would have to be to make 500 posts by the end of May. This is my first month on myLot, but I am hoping I can meet my goal. It would be great to have a nice cashout, but posts are more important to me.

Well, since I was so very close to making payout this month and missed it by only a few cents, my ultimate goal is to make payout, which hopefully will happen. I think my second goal here is to reach 5000 posts. I've been here over a year and I have yet to reach that post count. So many others have been here that long and have hit about 10000 posts or more. So I think I can hit 5000 posts if I try hard enough. Other than that, my goal is the same as it is every month, to try and do better than the month before it.

I don't really have a goal on myLot, but when I just looked at my earnings I think it might be a good idea to set a goal for myself. I want to make about 10 cents a day, because I have not reached payout so far, so it would be nice to finally get a pay out. I am on myLot more for the friends I make and discussions, and not so for the money. I see it as just a little extra

I thought that I wasn't able to reach payout at all for this April's payment, but I counted wrongly and the earnings are just tabulated just now and I am glad that I would be paid a pretty nice sum from mylot coming this 15th of May. I am so, so happy that I'm able to reach payout. I read somewhere in a blog site (couldn't remember which) that it is always not fun to put on targets because rules are just meant to be broken and targets are not meant to be reached. That's what I believed in and so, I did not put in any targets for myself so far in terms of mylot. Even in real life, I don't really target myself on anything. I just go with the flow and each time I discover something great like increased earnings and stuff like that, I'll be over the moon and feeling definitely happy. I think it's more a laid-back me (my nature) and I'm the type of guy to just "go with the flow" and "chill". Thanks Gab for this cool discussion. I usually don't keep goals in mylot except for a few occasions. I really enjoy my stay here and I get peace of mind by posting responses to discussions. But,I also think that setting goals has also its own advantages. It helps you to be on schedule.But,at the same time,every one should set realistic goals which should be achievable. And I think that your goal is definitely appropriate.25$ per month is neither too high nor too low. But,to get there sincere hard work is essential. Well i am already achieved my goal for April. Now i am focusing at my goal of May. I want to reach at 2000 posts and 25$ in May. I have made 13.48$ in only 22 days in April. I think i can make 25$ easily in May. This is my target for every month and i want 25$ in every month. Thanks
