Yesterday I was watching the movie 1408. They told me that it was a scary movie, I don't like scary movies, then I noticed that it was 'Cusack" on the movie, I know the kind of acting that he does, so I decided to watch it.
It turn out to be a great movie, no wait excellent movie.
Later I noticed that is based on a book from Stephen King. Now I want to get the book, so I can read it.
PLOT: A writer decides to stay in a hotel (specifically in room # 1408) because they told him that it was haunted. Many people have died in this room over 60 people.
It turns out that the room was haunted, but no one really comes out on trying to kill you. It plays games with your conscious, he sees his dead daughter, he realize that he doesn't spend that much time with his wife, all this things from him life pop out. It' s like your own life is haunting you.
I loved it!!! have you guys seen it?

yeah, i've seen this movie like 4 months ago. It's not really scary but a suspense thriller thing. I like the way it was done because the antagonist is the main character's self which is very rare for movies nowadays.
My cousin saw this one on both dvd and cable. Surprisingly, he said that there were two different ending of the movie. The cable version was that Cusack's character perished on the hotel fire while the dvd version showed he survived the ordeal. Has anyone seen the same thing?
