Was it only me that grew up with Edward Scissor hands and didn't know it was Depp?! I was pretty old when I realised who Edward scissorhands actually was, and it puzzled me! lol. I assumed Johnny Depp just popped up round about '99 in Sleepy Hollow.
That just me?

One of his greatest traits as an actor is that he can play so many different types of roles and there are people who don't connect him with those roles because they are so different from one another.
Cry-Baby, 21 Jump Street, Nightmare Before Christmas, Ed Wood, Edward Scissorhands, Benny & Joon, What's Eating Gilbert Grape? He's done A LOT of movies in his career.
Johnny Depp has actually been in seven (counting the upcoming Alice in Wonderland) of Tim Burton's films. The only other person to come close is Helena Bonham Carter who has been in six. The Tim Burton/Johnny Depp duo produces some AMAZING results. I'm actually very excited to see Alice in Wonderland... Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter!

As far as the Depp/Burton pairing...I know that HBC has to audition for her parts in the Burton films and she's his .... well, girlfriend but might as well be his wife, so I'm sure Johnny does too.

Hehe, he did "Corpse Bride", not "The Nightmare Before Christmas" :b
I'm a huge Johnny fan. If I'm feeling down or need to pass the time away, I just pop in one of his movies, and I feel so much better. I never ever get bored of him BECAUSE his roles are so different.
There are actually people who are sick of Johnny and Tim teaming up? Isn't that crazy? They're really good friends, so why wouldn't they want to work together all the time? People never say the same thing about Adam Sandler and company, Will Ferrell and co, and now...Seth Rogen and co!
Anyways, I'm excited for all of Johnny's upcoming movies!
PS: I heard "Alice in Wonderland" might be in 3D. AWWWWESOME.

Yeah I knew, he was in a nightmare on elm street in the 80s sure and rear and loathing in las vegas in 1998, hes actually been pretty busy and he can act so many different roles he is a very versatile performer.I think hes in his 50s now but he is still hot lol. Hes just one of those actors who will always be handsome like Sean Connery!

Oh sorry. It's just that I didn't realise Johnny Depp played Edward Scissorhands until I was much much older.
