Do you think the Government should issue a second stimulus check?

So the Government has just begun to issue the first batch of stimulus checks as of Monday, April 28th 2008. With the economy plumeting and gas prices rising, do you think they should be so kind as to issue another stimulus check?? Luckily for my family, my husband and I have great jobs, and don't risk being laid off, however I know that many americans are faced with the possibility of this on a daily basis. We plan on using our check on purchasing a new LCD tv while the remainder will go into our gas tanks, food expenses and so on. The only thing that truly scares me is that the cost of everything will just continue to rise and then burden we have already begun to feel will simply get worse. In my opinion, I think it would be mighty nice of the government to give us some more of our hard earned dollars back by way of a second stimulus check. A second check could provide just enough for some families who are on the brink of losing it all.. Leave a comment and let me know what you think!
