Awesome free weight management site

I just wanted to tell everyone about Sparkpeople.com this site is awesome. I have lost quite a bit of weight on the site, and it costs nothing ever! Weither you are trying to drop a few pounds, or a lot of weight this site is amazing. Just thought I would Spread the Spark. :) If you have used this site, how successful have you been?

I joined this site like a year ago, but because of personal issues never became active. I actually went back yesterday and updated all my information because I've committed myself to a health program starting this month. So it was weird finding your topic today, just when I just re-activated my sparkpeople.com account.
I think its an excellent site, with lots of information and tools to help a person stay on course. It has an active discussion board for those who needs support. I say, if one uses it properly, it can assist a person in their weight loss goals. And the best part, it is a free site.

I just joined a few hours ago and have put in my full food diary for the day. I think that is a great tool even though I'm really don't need to lose very much weight. I've found that I am eating a little more calories than I thought I was on my vegetarian days, but just the right amount of protein and fats. That's what I was worried about most when I eat vegetarian, the amount of protein. I've also noticed that I feel better on my vegetarian days than when I eat meat and I hope that their food diary would make it easier to figure out why by making it easy to compare my meals and nutrition from day to day.
I don't know if I can keep it up. I've tried these sites before and I just don't have the time to put in all the information. One thing I did like was that my local SparkTeam has outings that they post like hiking, bicycling, etc. I may just join them on some of them.
