Need help making a Picture into HTML code form

OK ive looked and looked all over the internet. I find the way to make a picture onto my computer into HTML form but it doesnt work with my pictures, it just shows that empty white box. So is there a website that I can create a logo and have it automatically in HTML form so i can automatically put it to advertisment use. I think i may be missing something on my computer or soemthing. I need help ASAP

basically you have to upload the picture somewhere - you can put it on photo bucket or if you have your own domain & hosting just upload it to your server.
Once you have a link for the picture, you insert it by writing img src="yourlinkhere" - you have to use the "lesser than and greater than" symbols on your keyboard - I'd show you here but mylot doesn't allow you to put html tags in our messages!!

Yes i tried it with photobucket, but it just takes you to photobuckets website instead. So if there is another website like photobucket it would work
