i hate my present job,i shouldn't use such a strong word(hate)it's only been 6 weeks since i am working here, its a goverment office, it's not hard work,i keep telling myself that it is just a temp, it's not what i intend to do all my life, you see i was in the field of nursing, i was a student nurse for the past 3 and half years (psychiatric nursing),left it because of racial remarks and discrimination, presently i am doing a secretarial profession course it finishes next month , and pharmacy technician course, which is in the medical
field (i want to be in the medical field )
. i have done so many courses, i have alot of qualifications and job experience, for once in my life i would just like to settle in something that i really love, i really liked psychiatirc nursing, i saw myself being in that profession and succeeding in the future i mean i passed all my practical and theorectical exams graduated from the institute got my "associate degree in basic psychiatry" i mean three years of hard work and scarifice, all i needed now was to pass the nursing council exams to get my license to be a recognised ,qualified registered mental nurse (RMN)
i took the exam ,thought to myself "this exams was not hard, i use up all my time wisely had enough time to analyze read over my answer, i just knew i had this one ,i mean three years you are studying to be in this field it is so nice to know you helped some one sincerely and honestly.any way the day i got back
my results, this was last year december 10th 2007 i will never forget that day, i opened my envelope , they failed me the entire exams ,the heads of department told me that this profession was not for me
i was told other thing but i wouldnot say
i couldn't enjoy my christmas , i was depressed for a month couldn't eat nor sleep,i was in a mess
if it wasn't for my mother she is also a psychiatric nurse , (she studied in england)she helped me through this ,where am i to go from here, i was brought up in a christain home i was thought never to discriminate against another we are all sons and daughters of GOD.

Hi sexyjo. I agree with you that we all are sons and daughters of God. And all of us deserv equality. Why you don't try to go out your city? Maybe you can end your course the best way. Do you have sure that it happen because racial discrimination? If so you can against them in a tribunal.
good luck
