Ever notice how much we buy to throw away or burn?
I've noticed lately how many things we spend money on that just gets tossed or thrown away or even used once and tossed. or burnt
Examples are:
Garbage bags
Sandwich bags, lunch bags
TP
Kleenx
disposable food containers
disposable cooking containers
Gas/deisel/propane
beverage containers
baby wipes
diapers
pads/tampons
tin cans
Yes there are things you wouldnt WANT to reuse but before the disposable age alot of things were washed then reused
Can anyone think of anything else?

The waste goes on and on its never ending, the thing that gets me sometimes are the biscuit wrappers,we buy a paacket of biscuits ,they are in maybe three different wrappers, its just madness. We are such a wastefu society its unbelievable.the things that you list are good examples of waste yes.Ive just started buying nappy bags for my dog poo bags because they are at least bio degradable, the ordinary polythene bags arent.Baby wipes im not sure if they are bio degraable or not?maybe someone will knbow. But they reckon statistics say that thirty percent of the foo that we buy is thrown away, well thats just amazing isnt it?

Yeah, you're right. I know it's hard to cut back on garbage bags because my apartment complex requires all trash to be completely sealed up and closed, and that requires a plastic bag. Boxes, etc, get stuck in the trash chute. I don't buy a lot of the stuff that you listed. I can't help it with the feminine products, it's just too hard to wash a cloth and keep it clean and hygienic.

The boxes that frozen food comes in and candy wrappers come to mind.
I lately have been noticing the things that we buy that we really don't need. Mainly because I am having a garage sale and have to sell things for 50 cents that I paid $10 or more for.

I was just thinking of wrapping paper and tissue paper. Just wrapped a graduation gift for my husband's niece. Unless it's a really big sheet that someone carefully takes off and reuses, it just gets trashed or recycled. At least gift bags are easily reused.
