Who is going on vacation this summer?? Also, tell us where!

I am taking my baby son to Latvia this summer. It is a small country that is one of the Baltic States that are between Poland and Russia. The climate there is likely to be temperate so I will need a jacket for the rain and a mix of warm to cool clothes. It might have similar weather to my home country. I have just booked the flight and I will find accommodation when I get there. I will explore the capital city of Riga first and then head out to the countryside and the coast. Next I will either go to explore Tallinn in Estonia or if successful getting a visa go to St Petersburg in Russia. This week I will try to find out if it is possible to arrange for the Russian visa. I hope that you will have a wonderful time in Florida. Yes, it is wise to wear plenty of suncream. Although I have dark brown hair I have quite a fair skin and so wear a high factor suncream when I am in the tropical sun.

We are going on our first holiday of the year in 3 weeks time, I live in UK and we are going to a place not far from us by the seaside called Blackpool, I am really excited even though the weather might not be up to much. We were hoping to have 2 holidays this year but the way things are going it looks doubtful and also we are having the garden done in June, but hey if the weather comes good I can always holiday in my brand new garden and have barbeques instead!!

We haven't planned in major vacations for this summer, however, we will be taking plenty of our mini-vacation to our favorite campgrounds. Even though it's only about 35 miles from our house, it is nestled in the mountains, has a stream that runs through it, pond, pool, and it's very relaxing. The only immenities we take, is our cell phones, which are turned off except when we check for any messages, just in case there were any family emergencies. It's nice just to get away from the tv, phones, computers etc for a few days, and relax, we usually take a good book along to read, and we do take our radio. My daughter and her hubby will be joining us for the first camping trip of the season, Memorial Day weekend. My sister and her hubby have planned a vacation to Ireland this year. We normally take a long weekend trip on the Harley during the summer, but we haven't planned when or where.

My family doesn't do vacations. I know, weird. Right now, I am doing mostly freelance writing so, my summer is yet again spent in front of the TV and computer. I think we might go visit relatives, but that's only a maybe.
