First of all, that really sucks about you getting a bad mark, I'm really sorry! But you should take that as a push in the right direction, and let it make you determind to get a much better mark next time! I am studying physics at university and I've found the best way to understand is to do lots and LOTS of problems. Also, read a lot, read around the subject area in order to get a wider understanding, or ask a friend who is also in that class if they can help you to understand! Physics is tough but if you have the motivation and determination, you will succeed! Good luck! :)

READ.....This is the way to understand it conceptually. We do understand some of it intrinsically (however without the formulas). Honestly, my suggestions for learning physics would be as follows. Any Newton you can get your hands on Galileo Galilee works Albert Einstein works Roger Penrose works Stephen Hawking - A Brief History of Time Stephen Hawking - The Universe in a Nutshell Get the StumbleUpon extension for Mozilla (pick physics interests) The Feynman Lectures on Physics The Elegant Universe The World Treasury of Physics, Astronomy, and Mathematics Also, you may want to get really good at mathematics, for which I suggest the best math book in the world: Gullberg - Mathematics: From the Birth of Numbers

Hi, to help with understanding electricity. Try thinking of the values we assign to electrical measurements, alongside those we use for water. Water is everywhere and most of us understand the measurements of water. For electricity and voltage think of water and kilopsacals for pressure. For electricity and amps, think of water and liters for volume. For electricity and watts, think of water and liters per minute for total power. The effect of electricity is instant yet electrons only move at 8 kmh, place a skewer inside a straw and put your finger against the skewer, the other end will start to move at the same time, yes? Hope that helps.
