J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books were all best selling novels. From Sorcerers/Philosophers Stone up to the Deathly Hallows, readers were thrilled and excited in each and every chapter.
But the question is, which book do you like best? What made you choose it or why? Which was your favorite scene? Your favorite character? What is the spell that you'd like to learn? Who among the character do you hate the most?
The book Goblet of Fire is my favorite among the series. It tested Harry from different situation. Plus Harry and Lord Voldemort confronted in this book and Harry spoke to his mother or Lily and his father James.

First of all, I would like to say that I love all the Harry Potter books written by JK Rowling. I am a really big Harry Potter fan. I make sure that I purchase the latest Harry Potter merchandise and I collect all books. My favorite Harry Potter book was the first one. I first encountered this book when I was at the school library and looking for good books on the shelf. When I read about the first book, I got hooked. It was so unpredictable and exciting. My favorite character is Hermione Granger. I know that she is a know it all student but that does not matter. She is very hardworking and studious. She never fails to help her friends, Harry and Ron whenever they are in need. She is a genuine friend. I really admire her character even though the story is fictional. I look forward to the books that JK Rowling will be writing in the future. I am sure that it will also be bestsellers.

I really liked the fifth, Order of the Phoenix. The scene where the Weasley twins left school was priceless.

i cant say i have 1 specific book that i like. i guess it would have to be books 3-7. although book 1 and 2 are good books and book 1 is vital since its the beginning of the book, book 3 starts showing that harry isnt a 'kid' anymore. he is growing up and experiencing new things. plus in book 3 he starts to meet his godfather and then on the other books meet the order of the phoenix books. in books 3 and up it shows that the book is not only meant for children but for all ages.

I love the third book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. In this book, Harry finds out the true about his godfather, Sirius Black. Aside from his friends at Hogwarts, this is the first time Harry feels a sense of family.

Oh darn! Please dont make me choose!..hmm. this is going to be hard! Well, anyways, I like the Sorcerers Stone just because it is the first. Thats when the hype and the whole franchise started. Without it there wont be any series, I think. Anyways, if I really ahd to pick I would definitely agree with you. I liek the Goblet of Fire too. I agree taht it has everything and its also the start of the huge suspense about Voldemort being in the flesh right? I knda fogot but Im pretty sure, not 100% sure but pretty sure. COming in really close second, just a hair-width close is The Prisoner of Azkaban. Its where Harry got most of his freedom and he got to learn about his famiyl and toher relatives like Sirius Black. I really like the scene with the Hippogriff(?). Did I name that right or am I thinking of another creature. I forgot the creatures name too but Harry flew with him to escape in Azkaban and Harry got him from Hagrid.
Cant rememebr much, ltos of things happened in the books/series and I cant remember them all. Oh! I do love the 7 spells in the first book to get to the Stone and I love the huge chess pieces!
I can just go on and on and on about why I lvoe Harry Potter.^_^ I know most admirers do.^_^

My favorite is definitely Chamber of Secrets. I think I've read it 20 times. I love when Lockhart's memory spell backfires and he loses his memory. Favorite character in that book is probably Dobby.
