In total honesty, do you believe obedience training is really necessary, if you have the time to dedicate to training your dog? I have 2 Rottweiler pups and people act amazed when they learn I never had them obedience trained by a pro, but they are so well behaved! I talked to an obedience trainer and he asked me various questions about how they behave and he told me I didn't have to take them to be trained because it sounded as they were doing well enough. I never had a problem, they sit, stay, come when called, do not jump on me and listen. I think that if you have time and some expertise gained over the internet you can do it yourself.

Hi Alessadry, No you don't have to send a dog or any kind of pet to a obedience school. If you have the time with your pet you can train or teach them what ever and what ever you want them to do.
Have you ever seen the shoe the "DOG WHISPER " On that show you can learn a lot.
