DIgital Camera - change Video setting from MOV to AVI ??

I own a Panasonic Lumix and I was wondering if there is a way to change the video settings format from MOV to AVI?? I'm a bit tired of using a video converter to change all my movies format when I store them on my computer.
Does anyone know ??

Unfortunately you can't. Digital cameras only record video in one format... for some it's MOV and for others it's AVI. If you're tired of converting, your only other option is to get a new camera. I have a Canon Powershot camera which records AVI. I also have a Nikon Coolpix camera which records MOV. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure all Canon cameras will record AVI and all Nikon cameras will record MOV.
If you do decide to buy another camera, you should definitely find out what format it records video in first before buying! You can find this outline by looking at the specs for the camera.

i suggest download a free mov to avi converter from the internet and work from there... there are many and some of them are really good.
