Wow, i never though of doing any research before buying a cellphone. For me, price is the main consideration. As cellphone to me, only is an electronic equipment that making call and sending sms. Therefore, so long the cellphone with reasonable price and serve this 2 purposes is OK for me already.

Hi syahmi230, thanks for the responds. As you willing to wait until the great function then only consider whether want to buy the phone or not. So, how long you normally wait before you decide to get a new phone?

I read reviews about phones as I write reviews about mobile phones. I really do some research to tell my friends about the latest models and update. Most of my friends really love to keep changing their phones and update them regularly, to the latest technologies and models. I am happy with the current model I have, but I am not so sure whether I will change it after an year or two when some real good model comes.

It is depends on how individual request on their cellphone. Some people will seek for a cellphone with a better quality of camera, some will only mainly make phone call & sms (like me :p), some will prefer the cellphone that can listen songs, etc. Wow, you doing research on cellphone? Then next time i can seek for your advice before i want to change cellphone :p

The current cellphone that I am using is Nokia 3120 and its been with me for more than 3 years already. Still working good. Nah...I don't keep up with the latest cellphone though I do know what's the latest but I don't plan to change till this current one conks off. I just use my cellphone for call+receive, sms, calculator and alarm. That's about all.

Yes, you are same like me. Cellphone just a small device that used for communication. There is really not necessary to have such many extra features. In fact, i heard someone told that a cellphone that with more features is actually more harmful to us. But i'm not sure what are the impact, hehe~~

I observed that many rich and wealthy people doesn't have the newest model of cellular phone. They are contented with their cell phones that are still usable. Therefore, like them, it's not having those new model that matters, but how you use them. A lot of young people have new models but they are trying to cheat their parents to have it loaded. When i think of this, I just smile, and say to myself, "though my cellphone is a bit old, yet full of loads".

I think the rich people which you mentioned are those business man or those adults who have the ability to think maturely. For me, i can see most of the youngters carry the new model of the handphone. And mostly all these youngters are not start working yet, mainly depends on their parents.

Well, I don't have any urge to trade in my cellphone. All the features & new designs are just marketing gimics. Some of the features we won't even be using them, haha!~I had 3 handphones before me, all Nokia & this is my 4th phone so far - it's a HP PDA phone. 4 only in 8yrs. If it weren't for the 1st phone that feel into the toilet bowl, I wouldn't have traded it in, haha My last phone I gave to my lil' sis as a 2nd phone as she has 2 sim cards & I needed a PDA 2 store MS Office stuff for my work as I'm always on the go, mostly excel pricelist & also more addresses

Hi zweeb82, yes, i agree with you, those so called 'new' features are just for marketing purpose. Can really see the difference between last time and now. Last time, we used to ask: Do you have a cellphone? But now, the question has changed to: Which cellphone model you using now? Haha, what a big difference. I can see even those foreigner who work in construction site using a cellphone that more advance than mine.
