I used to live quite well not rich but not poor either. I could buy us all pizza, shoes for my daughter, video game for my son, lattes every day....ah I miss that.
Now since I lost my job involuntarily 7 months ago I am starting over. My fiance luckily got a raise in pay with his raise in title and he pays my mortgage and a few other bills. My ex pays child support which goes to food and kid stuff-only necessities though. I am lucky that I get child support-the same amount for the past 8 years. And I am lucky that my fiance pays the other bills, he used to keep his paychecks and I paid all of the bills with my own money. I was independent, I bought my home and my car on my own without anyone. I raised my kids on my own and I supported us.
Now We live pay check to pay check and I have to tell the kids no once again. before I lived comfortable I put my self through school and took care of thekids and we ate alot of ramen. We are back to ramen again. We are holding on but it is so hard to have to pay bills late and only buy bread, milk, eggs, and cereal. Every now and then I buy some apples or fruit snacks for my little ones. They shouldnt have to go with out they do not understand.
I explain that we are going to a rough patch and that we all have to work together and we will be just fine. I am working again in my field as in insurance agent and I get paid commission only, since less people are driving due to gas prices, less insurance is being bought. I am also working part time at a day care for some extra cash. I am forever trying to find online opportunities to make a little money. I have found afew and gotten some checks- but it would be nice if I could find some more. I know you have to spend money to make money, but those 39, 49 67 to start programs are not an option...neither are the monthly payment ones.
Anyone have a legit opportunity that works...
