Do you think people lie on myLot?

I came across a discussion started by somebody who was purportedly abducted by aliens. He gave the details of his abduction and the things he learned from these aliens. I wanted to reply to his discussion but I'm not sure if he was telling the truth. Don't get me wrong, I totally believe that there is life outside our own planet, but his description of what happened to him sounded a little too stereotypical, sort of sounds too much like Hollywood. Do you think he made it all up?

It's easy to say something that is untrue, half-truth and fictional. For some reasons, these discussions were never really meant to say the truth but you can't call it as a lie as well. It is aimed to entertain the readers and posters, to share what they can come up with their creative juices. Though I didn't saw that post you're pertaining to, it's up to you to respond on it without thinking if it's true or not.

That's really hard to do, you know, because every time we read something, we cannot avoid not thinking whether it's true or not. I actually responded to the discussion right after starting this one. I didn't accuse him of lying, but I asked for more information. I guess you're right about the part about that's how people get discussions started, they have to be creative. Now that myLotter caught my attention and had me asking for more. :)

You'll get to know and read more of them once you get the hold in here, but there are some that do make sense and that's up to you to look for!
