Help !!-Suggest some good digital cameras to buy Please!

i did post this topic in photography section but dint get any response...i badly wanted to buy a digital camera now..and dunno what to look at before buying..what features are necessary other than the pixels and zoom..what other features should i look into and is there any brand u can suggest..it would be of immense help if mylotters can help me decide things..waiting for ur responses..

I think you should make a list on what you want from a camera as people want different things for different reasons...write down if you want one that runs on batteries, or from a dock, how many mega pixels you want, what size you want, how much money you want to spend, and take your list to a good camera store and they will help you find the nearest to your list...good luck.
