Pork and Beans anyone?

we have it once in awhile for dinner and eat it with pork and rice. we enjoy it as something a little different...but i dont think that i could eat it for breakfast or for a week or days at a time. but a couple of times a month is ok.

I can't recall one time during my childhood where my mother made baked beans. My boyfriends mother on the other hand apparantly made them all the time, and still does. So my boyfriend on occassion will request baked beans and hotdogs. And it has to be either B&M or Busch baked beans. I don't particularly care for them, but I will eat it. My daughter won't touch the beans. She just picks out the hot dogs!

Hi. janpaolo. Welcome to myLot! I do love to eat pork and beans too. I love them when I cook the with hot dogs or spicy sausages. It is so very delicious when it is cooked this way. My kids love eating pork and beans too. We grew up on eating Camp's Pork and Beans.

I like pork and beans as a rule. There are some cans of beans that have tomato sauce mixed in them and I add ketchup to add flavor sometimes.
