Are you speaking of Yellowstone Park? I have never been there, but always wanted to go. Although the description, somewhat reminds me of the hills of Kentucky, Foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, where I was raised.

From your description of Yellowstone it has to be a awesome place. I have wanted to visit there for a long time and reading your post makes me want to visit there that much more. I also want to see the Grand Canyon and from what I have seen on the Discovery channel that also must be a awesome place. Thanks for the very descriptive post. It is almost like being there.
