what will you do if you have a different view of your parents'? If you believe you are right and they won't take your advice, what will you do?
In Chinese traditional culture, we held this belief as bellow:
Confucius said, 'In looking after one's parents, one may need to give every mild advice to them. If it is not accepted, one should remain respectful and obedient. One may be worried, but will never complain.'
In the modern time, arguing very furiously against parents is considered extremely impolite. Even if they are obviously wrong, shouting is still regarded as a bad manner. Persuasion is a better choice.

I admit that we should respect our parents as Confucius said. However, this does not mean totally obedience without even a little of our own thoughts. Parents will be wrong some time, and it is not right for us to listen to our parents all the time. We should talk together with our parents and let them know our true feelings.
