hey, every mylotter here, would you please recommend some interesting and helpful books to me? I'm learning English now. If you are a native English speaker, maybe what you read in the high school will fit me, I guess.
Thank you all in advance.

Some of the books that I read in high school were horrible, but others were some if my favorite books.
Lord of the Flies
The Power of One
The Great Gatsby
Out of Africa
The Power of One
-All of these books have movies with the same title that are identical to the book, so if you are using the books to help you understand English better, the movies help you understand what's going on in the book.
The Power of One is my absolute favorite book, I've read it at least a dozen times now. Hope that helps.

Well there were a few that are classics that weren't amazing but a good read such as,
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Kite Runner
Shakespeare's Works (Julius Ceaser, Romeo and Juliet...)
Some easier books:
Tangerine
Stuck in Neutral
The Body of Christopher Creed
I've read all of these in my English classes so...good luck!
