I thought the count of monte cristo was the greatest book i ever read

o.k. actually it's one of the best. I haven't read it for awhile but I had read it at least twice. I convinced my husband to read it and he liked it too. What are the odds of meeting someone in prison who has a fortune stashed away and you get it? I think there was a movie version of this book. I can't remember any of the characters names.

they say that this novel is so good, because this was Jose Rizal's favorite novel during his teenage life :Jose Rizal is the Philippines' national hero

yes its one of my favorites too. When i read the book the last pages were torn out but then i waited a few years to completely read it. It is a really adventurous and romantic story. a wonderful book which even now i read and reread
