What Can You Do Or Eat To Put The Weight On?

I am 34 and I'm 4'11". Most of my life I was at 97 to 100 pounds yes that is light in weght. After I had my son in 1998 about 4 years later my weight started really dropping when I started working 3rd shift and things changed my eating and sleeping habits ect. It's been five years and my weight is now down to 78 pounds. I have gone to my doctor and all he did was ran some thyroid tests and said everything was fine to just start start drinking ensure to help gain and maintain my weight. I did and nothing it was getting rather expensive. After he saw me for a second time he said as long as you don't get down to 75 pounds I'm not going to worry keep eating so I did. I have to eat alot just to keep it at 78 where it stands now. I want to put the weight back on and am haveing a hard time doing it. At times I feel really insecure about myself because of my weight how others notice regardless if I wear baggy clothes or not. They comment on it and tell me all the time "you need to eat your to skinny" I say "I know" and leave it at that. Does anyone here have low weight and are trying to gain it? what are you doing to help yourself put on the weight?

I had the same problem, I went to a couple of doctors who thought I was crazy for wanting to put weight but they tried to help me but nothing worked and then someone told me to go to the healthfood shop and get a thing called "body bulk" it is a powder you mix with milk but i was so desperate i used to add bananas and malt, boy did it work, within 3 months i had put a fiar bit of weight on but i will tell you now that I am a little older i am a bit sorry because now i am trying to lose weight, we are never satisfied...

I find that I really need to for I am under weight quite a bit. I'm at 80 right now and should be 97 to 100. I eat really good and things most people can't for they are the oposit of what I am and just them looking at it will put the weight on them. I have bought a big container of that the one I bought is called Mass Factor and I got it at the GNC store. I went for 6 months of drinking that stuff and ya it helped a little but not much I would make it by the blender full and drink it once a day. I stopped for a while and I think I need to start back up w/ it again for it was doing the trick but I just didn't do it long enough I guess. Thanks for the response and take care.
