Dad had a stroke

My Dad had what doc's are now calling today (Friday) a mini-stroke last Tuesday. Tuesday he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and tests were performed by the ER and the only conclusion they came up with was that his blood sugar had bottomed out. So they sent him home. My parents are elderly and my Mom doesn't drive so if he had to return she would have had to call for help. I live hundreds of miles away. Why are hospital doing this, sending a 75 year old man home with risk of more problems happening. The hospital he has to go to is over 30 miles from his home.

i am sorry to hear that. i really hope he feels better soon. is there no way you could ask them to come and staywith you for a while or may be some friends or family. i think staying closer to a hospital at this time would help. Dont worry sure all will go well.
