Have you ever eaten at Olive Garden? My husband wanted to go to this restaurant for the anniversary of when we began dating so I agreed to go because I thought he said there is a buffet. There wasent and being a vegetarian I found it very hard to find something to eat there. They let you order food off the childrens menu and dont charge you any extra the food is just in smaller portions. I loved the restaurant it was clean and beautiful but the food was terrible. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it was that instant junk from a box. The fettichini (I know its spelled wrong I cant think how its spelled for some reason)was boiled to long and not stirred enough because the noodles were dried out clumped together. The only good thing about the food was we got unlimited breadsticks with the meal. I wound up eating a bunch of those because I hated the food that I received. Then when we got the bill we noticed that the dip for the breadsticks wasent free it was $1.50 for each one which is dumb. I guess thats another way they get you. Who wants to eat breadsticks plan I always want something to dip them in so of course if they are going to offer something free they know they will get people by charging for the dip.

I love Olive Garden!! Everytime I'm there, the food and service is great. I never really ever had a problem eating at either one (Vestal or in Scraton). I know they are expensive as heck but what restaurant isn't anymore. Yeah that's how all restaurants are these days with charging you extra for the small stuff. I guess its there way to getting more money out of ya.

me and my wife love olive garden and the closest one is about 45 miles away so every anniversary we go to celebrate our vows it was where we ate for dinner on our wedding night. So now it is a tradition and a treat.I love there food and if you get the fettichinni ( spelled wrong) it has no meats in it and very delicious...

I have eaten at Olive Garden several times already. Olive Garden is really awesome. They offer great Italian meals at great prices. I love almost all of them. The last time I was there was with a certain group. There is one in my area. I also enjoy Red Lobster. My youngest sister in the family, who is six years older than me, used to work at both the places. I never give up going to those places at all.

Hmmm. My son and his girlfriend are vegetarians and they love Olive Garden. I'll have to find out what they eat there. I think one is a portobella mushroom dish that they love.

We've only been once to Olive Garden. This was for my Mother's birthday this year. I ordered a chicken dish that was half-way decent. My husband ordered a dish that was terrible! Can't remember the name. The one thing I like is all the salad they bring you. The breadsticks are good, too. But, to me, the prices don't match the food. Too high, although you get plenty of food, but the food isn't all that good to me. If I'm paying that much, I had rather have a steak at OutBack.

I haven't been there but I plan on going there sometime soon because I keep hearing from people that the food there is delicious. I might go sometime this week if I don't have any plans. But from what I'm hearing from you it doesnt sound so great maybe I'll just buy something small and simple.
