In this speeding world, today, every relation ,atleast, appears to be a monetory relation. The material world has overpowered the psyche of man that even a child knows this much.In underdeveloped countries,I see a poor father loses respect and careting if a rich uncle begins to bring gifts for the poor man's children. We don't find the Biblical examples of child-parent bond nowadays. Our tokens of gifts to a lover or beloved strengthen,or we feel so,the diminishing love between us.Material has ,in a way, become a visible symbol of our love for the people.A poor friend of the past, who would be ready to sacrifice his life for his rich friend,is overshadowed by the glitter of material. The real bond of love which we find the the beautiful lines of John Donne,Thomas Hardy,William Shakespeare, and many more to name, is missing.Let's try for one day to totally ignore the materialistic aspect of life and begin to see every human being with love and admiration to revive the virtue which has almost disappeared.

Yes I agree it has become a very material world, filled with greed by selfish people. As one that believes there is a reason for everything that happens, it makes me think that the negatives of life, even the tragities in life is to wake us up to the good in life and to be thankful for what we have...
