My cat had kittens today (so cute they are) well early evening she was stalking my hubby meow meow. She kept on going over to the basement door which he opened she started going downstairs then meow meow and she wouldn't stop just looking at him tilting her head. He went downstairs and she was climbing in a box full of stuff. He yelled up to me I think she is in labor. He then got a nice big empty box and put a blanket in it. She jumped in and was resting. He came upstairs and 5 minutes later there she was meow meow, mind you only to hubby and again made him go downstairs. he stayed for about 1/2 an hour and nothing. She waited about 5 minutes and came and got him again, by this time he was like what the heck? talking to the cat. He went downstairs she followed but this time he brought the box upstairs and she refused to get in it, we could see the contractions and she kept on meowing at the basement door. He gave up took the box back downstairs and stayed there with her for 2 hours until she had all her babies (6). When he came up and told me I couldnt help but laugh. I then said jeeeeeez you didnt stay that long in the room with me when I was in labor! Momma and kitty's are doing well but I think hubby is exhausted lol
Do you have an animal that has human behaviors?

That's such a cute story! Your husband is a sweetheart for taking the time to stay with momma kitty. My mom has a dog it's a mini pin and his name is Taz, he acts like he is human too like your cat. Whenever you give him new treat of brand of dog food you have to pretend to eat it and then give him some an he will eat it otherwise he won't touch it. He also tattles on my nieces whenever they won't take him outside or give him something off their plates he will go to my mom and make a rowlf sound until she gets up and follows him out to them he will scratch on the floor and look at the girls then back at my mom and he will even go to the plate or the fridge and scratch on the door to get a treat. He's such a silly dog, spoiled too lol. I hope your kitties are all healthy and grow to move into loving homes.

Con-cat-u-lations grammasnook, you're a grandmother again!!! I've only seen a cat have babies when I was younger. The odd thing was that it was at a campground - not exactly the first place you'd think of to watch kittens being born. All of my cats have been fixed so that they can't have kittens, because we don't want anymore than we've got.

Oh I have to start out by saying how cute your story is . That is just amazing that you cat would do that do your husband.
I am not sure if I would say either of our cats have human behaviors. I do know that when our cats want something they tend to come to me first . The one cat will howl and howl until I respond, the other will most often just giving me a begging look with his eyes.
My dogs are pretty smart , and boy do they get jealous when they are missing out on attention . If they are around when Hubby is kissing me they want in on the action, LOL . Not, sure if that is considered just human behavior or not .
