The trend, or more "style" that annoys me most right now is the bohemian/indie look on girls. It might be just in the area I live [because I live amoungst hippies and stoners], but I cannot stand it. So many girls where their hair unkempt, with long home-made skirts and earthy nuetral tones. I am sick of seeing it everywhere! xD

I think the fashion is quite good here in the UK at the moment,granted the jeans are are bit boring.But most of what my daughters wear i like,they wear the fashionable little smock type tops and leggings,chunky jewellery and they have their hair styled nicely.The only time i see the girls around here wearig their little skirts and dresses is at thw weekend when they go out,and then lol the skirts are tiny!!,but then again i can remember when i wore them in the early seventies...and i use to love them!!

hehe, yup i'm from england too, and i think we have our own unique little quaint style here
however, i do think the styles get repetetive and kids are scared to step out of the box and feel like they have to conform to a particular "style"
AKA. an "indie" kid wearing skinny jeans, smock tops, choppy hair, fringe, eyeliner, bright tops, waistcoats, converses, VANs, etc... they see a beautiful floral dress but would never consider wearing it because it isn't "their style" =P

It's a toss-up for me, there are a couple of trends that I don't care for. One is the wearing of a top and you can see the bra straps...it's underwear for cripes sake, not an ornament. When I was growing up we did everything we could to keep them from showing lol. Another one is when I see a gal bend over and her thong is proudly displayed peeking out of their jeans. Puh-leeeeeeeze, how tacky is that?!
The third one is this new trend for men to wear these huge legged sloppy shorts. They look more like women's loose coulottes than shorts. Then they sit down in them in typical 'guy style' and you can see their world....too much information for me, thank you hahaha. I contend: if you're going to wear shorts that have large leg holes and are more like a skirt...for petes sake, sit like a lady would and quit with the free show already. OK, that's MY beef, can't wait to read what others are lol.

hehe, but surely sometimes the bra strap thing can't be helped?
For example a strappy top... but you still need a supportive bra.
Although the thong thing disgusts me too...
Haha, about the guys... reminds me WAAAY to much of friends XDD

I love skinny jeans, they are so comfortable, they fit standing up and sitting down, whereas other jeans tend to be too long if they are okay sitting down or if they are the right length standing up then they are too short sitting down.
I sometimes where skirts, but it is not skirt weather at the moment, since spring is only peaking around the clouds for an hour a day lol.
I hate converses and uggs. They are both really ugly flat shoes. I have something simular to uggs that I wear as slippers. SLIPPERS! Inside the house not outside.

I don't mind converses, but it annoys me like crazy when you see people who ONLY EVER wear converses... and not even matching ones!
You can get some real cute converses with patterns though =P
Some uggs can be cute... okay, i said it ! -shot-
But a lot of the time they just look stupid.
Skinny jeans can look good, but there is a CERTAIN level of tightness that NOBODY should go over! and ESPECIALLY not young guys!

Somebody already mentioned the nasty crocs! I have to second that opinion. They could be like walking on clouds, but I will never know because they will never go on my feet! lol
The other trend that is just starting to get popular again is the high waisted pants. I am sorry, but they can make even the thinnest model look like she has a big gut!

hehe, I think some high waisted trousers look classy, but shorts are pushing it...
it depends how high waisted, how bulky the material is, the style of the clothing...
hehe, crocs, yup i think a lot of people pretty much agree.
I don't understand how the company who makes them could still be in business!
