Have you ever been in a situation that you cannot seem to get yourself out of? And no matter how hard you try, you always seem to be right back where you started from?I've been trying to search for a job rather it's online or off. It's been hard to search when I have no vehicle to go to and from. And if I was to search online for a job, I don't have the money to invest. Is there something that I can do that doesn't require me to invest money? I've been trying to get back onto my feet and get my life together. I have put my resume on all online job sites, and have forward to temp agencies, but no one seems to be hiring at the time. And I'm really running out of options and have hit rock bottom. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks a million

I know that feeling and luckily I am working as an Engineer and though it is damn tiring to work shift, I just have to make do with it. I enjoy social forums like mylot and this is the only 1 I'm active right now, besides on writing sites like free blogs and a social networking site like friendster. I would like to recommend you to review writing. And with good writing and patience, you can certainly see yourself reaching a nice income monthly. But you have to work hard at it though. I get paid for writing reviews on books, bike stuffs and many more and payment is through paypal $50 minimum. This is certainly easy to reach and if you are interested, PM me for the details yeah. I'm not kidding but the most hardworking moment that I've earned so far is around $400 per month. If you could start slowly, you could see your earnings around $100USD per month. Do take care and have a nice day. I hope I have given you some answers to this.

yes it is very hard out there. My husband just found a contract position, other than the fact that it is great he found a job, the hardest thing is the health insurance part of things. I also have work currently but I make a commission, I just made a new deal with my broker to say that not only will I be doing commissions sales with him, but I am also going to do marketing activities with him and he will pay me a salary for that. I will be making a few bucks a month which is very helpful for the sitter part of things. But other than that, it has been very difficult. For us, it is because our kids are not in school yet. Other than my oldest child, who goes 4 days a week, my younger one is not in school yet. I am not planning on putting her into any sort of montessori until she is at least 3 and that is not until January of 2009. It is very hard I can concur with that. Good luck to you,

I am so sorry to about your struggles. Raising children with todays economy is not easy. And health care is way too expensive as well, the reason why I try not to get sick without medical. Good luck to you and your Family and God Bless!

Well, a lot of it is what you are looking for, what country you are from, and what type of thing you are most interested in doing. I know there are so many different types of things out there, and a lot of them are open to just about anyone. As for online, you can do a number of searches to see what is out there. If it is a job away from home you are needing a good place to start could be sites such as Monster.com or Craigslist.com. These are 2 I have used. If you are looking for something online, there are things available you just need to watch out for some of the many scams. But also always remember, what works for me, may not always work for everyone. Wishing you the Best.

Hi Krause, with today's issues, one cannot be picky on looking for a job. If I can find a janitorial job to help pay the bills, I'll do it. But I've posting on Monster and check every day on CL. Yes, most jobs listed on CL are scams and end up being a waste of time. But I will keep searching, something is sure to happen. Thank you for your kind words. -Giggles

Hi! I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. It seems that the number of unemployed people is growing everyday. What's worse is that a lot of scammers take advantage of the situation. But don't despair because there are other ways of making money. You just have to be more creative and think out of the box. The internet has provided us with more options. I have been able to make money at home while taking care of my 2-year old son. Good luck!

I know the feeling. I was that way for years! I don't have a job, did all the things that you did and nobody is hiring. I think it's because of my age, every time I apply somewhere they hire someone younger. I do writing to make some extra money. Nothing like Zed cites, I make a few bucks per article but it's fun and I always wanted to be a writer!

how sad is that, talk about undiscriminating! Your age should not be a factor, and there are laws about that too. I always wanted to be a writer as well. I used to write poetry until I got "writer's block" and haven't had an idea since. I like to receive more info on these Zed cites, can you pm with me more info? Thanks, Giggles

You mean that quicksand feeling? Oh yeah, all of the time. And usually people are involved with the sinking feeling. I've have been dragged so far below the surface that I could write a novel on my failures. I'm not sure if I can help you. My family's in a similar situation. I would advise you to search online for alternative sources of income.

hello, I've never thought of it as quicksand, but yes, I like that, it explains to the fullest. I have searched online but it's another endless battle. I will continue to search, thank you for your advise.

I am in the same boat. But to make matters worse I am pregnant. People who were interested when they just have my resume turn tail and run when they see me. I've been trying to find things online because I figure then they can't see that I'm pregnant but I haven't had much luck there either. I've found a few things that pay but they usually don't pay much (sometimes not even minimum wage once you factor in all your time). And the ones that do pay more are usually only short term. Try Craigslist is you haven't already. That's were I found the short term work that at least paid decently.

hi mob, I'm so sorry to hear. I wanted to start a family now, but with today's lifestyles, who can afford to do anything? I have tried CL, but most are just spams. I looked into gigs and resumes, but still nothing. I wish you the best of luck with your family and job searches. If I find anything that can help, I'll be sure to keep you posted. -Giggles
