If you receive some email saying you need to confirm your paypal account don't write anything if you're not sure you're in the ORIGINAL paypal site (paypal.com or other countries ones) because there are fake sites (often having an address starting with numbers) that look like paypal but they are only trying to steal your account username and password. This could happen with all your accounts, not paypal only, you can find more info about this searching about "phishing". Maybe you already knew, but if not I think it could be helpful ;)
