What is Your Belief About Life After Death

Hello, Asereht. This is more a question of beliefs. I, personally, wouldn't like to know that, when we die, everything just turns black and that is it. This would be a real shock for me, because I want to live forever, in another dimension or not! I don't want to know that, one day, everything I have passed through, all my emotions, my memories, will be gone forever. However, I don't believe in Heaven nor in Hell, only in God. Nobody is perfect, and God forgives us all. Therefore, we all go to Heaven. Even the bad guys. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

honestly i've asked this question to myself and friends so many times its all about if u have faith in religion(heaven/hell) but like i believe in that cause i want hope i find its really harsh to say its over when we die and like the world goes on... but we'll never know.

Hi asereht1970 ~ Christians do not believe that we get into heaven by being "good and deserving" That would be impossible. Here are a few verses from the Bible "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 So, you can rest easy if you are a Christian. Of course, as Christians we want to do good because God loves us and we love Him.

Although many people have the same wish with you that people would just die and remain asleep forever, unfortunaltely that is not what would happen when we die. Bible says that there is heaven and hell. Although so many people nowadays don't believe about that, that would not change the reality that those places really exist. Until today, God has shown to many and many more people about the existence of those places through visions, dreams, etc.. God had even brought some of them to see and feel the agony of those in hell (hades, to be exact) because they never allow God to wash their sins through the blood of Jesus. There are also others who had seen heaven and even went there to tell others that God really has provide eternal homes for everyone of us who is willing to leave their wicked ways and to live a holy life according to His Word. Of course many won't believe those testimonies. It's up to each of us to decide for ourselves. I personally have a friend who God had shown him hell and heaven. God even brought him to hell once when he was in his rebellious times to show him that's where he will go if he continued in his wicked ways. That guy was a very clever and he might think that he is too clever to believe such things. I think alot of us think about this or discuss this. I'm not sure what to believe, I'm Catholic so I must believe it, but sometimes I find myself second guessing...but what are you to do ? I mean who really knows? I guess I will find out when I die.
