If you were sitting on the dock of the bay?

Come sail away, Come sail away, Come sail away with me! Love that song and every time I sit on a dock on a bay, that's what goes through my mind.

I would be thinking about my best friend's uncle, Otis Redding and what he was thinking and feeling when he wrote that song. I would also be thinking of how tired I am of hearing such a depressing song, LOL.

I would be thinking how nice and peaceful it is. I may also be thinking about fishing or swimming too. I may just sit there and watch the tides come in and go out also. I may feel like sitting there and just enjoying my time doing nothing. I may also feel free.

I don't know for sure what I would be thinking about. I noticed that when I have some quite time to myself, my mind tend to ramble off a multitude of things. Some times, it feels like the brain is taking the chance to clear off the unnecessary thoughts that are cluttering my mind. So I usually will have a small note pad handy to jot down those that I feel will be useful. That is how I get so many topics to write about when I come to mylot.

Well, if i were sitting on the dock of the bay...I will just feel the beauty of the place, the fresh air, little self reflections, thinking nice and good for life.

If I were sitting on the dock of the bay I would be singing the song. I would be lost in a daydream that would take me away to a nice tropical island . There I would find bliss with my baseball chico ;)

Whether someone would serve me a martini or two or baileys on the rocks LOL oh and some seafood haha. Nah seriously, probably about my life and how good it is so far.

I'd probably be thinking about life in general, maybe MyLot discussion idea's, what's going on under the water, anything that might be weighing on my mind...there's no telling. I love the water so I'd probably be there awhile. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Sitting on the dock of the bay - - - - means I would probably be sitting, totally relaxed, with a fishing pole dangling from the dock. If I were thinking about anything at all, it would be how blessed I was to be sitting in that position, at that place, at that time, with little concern for anything except the peacefulness of the moment.....ahhhhhh.....sitting on the dock of the bay, watching the ti-ime roll away.......ooh hooo....Now I'm gonna be singing that song all day......dreamin'.....

Well to be truthfull with you i probary wont' be thinking of anything just listening to mother nature I do that at nite sit on my porch swing an just listen to the sounds of nature its peacefull an relaxing I know you are saying what a nut

I'll be thinking about that beautiful day when I hold my own baby in my arms. May that day come soon. Right now still single and waiting!
