Police Fined me For not Wearing Helmet !!

Well, they have imposed some fines now. Luckily, I was able to buy one before they started routine checks .

In the past it was a rule to wear the helmet when you were driving a motorcycle. It's necessary for every motorcycle driver and the passenger to wear it. If not, you would be punished some money by the policeman. There was no such a rule since last year. As here it was prohibited to drive motorcycle. I love China

yes, i think everywhere, because here in kuwait they will fine also those using motorcycle with out helmet, even in the philippines.

Hi Naseefu, In the UK it is the law to wear a crash helmet and wearing one has saved my life many times in the past. So for safety reasons I would really encourage you to always wear one as you may feel confident as a rider but there is always the unexpected so please please wear one in future. Yes because people whom ride cycles have to have a helmet on mow. This is the law! I am so sorry that this had to happen to you. But wouldn't you rather this happen, then you got hurt or killed. There are so many people that are dieing because of not wearing a helmet. Just take this as watching your safety.

Yes, a lot of the states here have helmet laws. With the high speeds and the amount of traffic around here, it's a good thing.

I'm wondering why it was that you weren't wearing a helmet, since you obviously knew that you could get a fine and were trying to avoid the authorities? Yes, in Australia it is illegal not to wear a helmet on motorcycles and bicycles, and appropriate lighting/reflectors must be in place in order to road-register your "vehicle".

Hello,naseefu! Yes,in my area also the traffic police chase the non-helmet bike riders and impose penalty.we should obey the local traffic rules for our safety.rather i appreciate their actions.thanx.

that is a general rule, this is for your own good and protection. in this way if ever you get involve in an accident you are more protected or your head is protected when you are wearing a helmet. here near our house a lot of motorist pass. and some of them got into accident and lucky they are wearing the right protective gear. there is one accident just happened resently the motorist has no helmet and got into an accident. he hit his head in the pavement... well i really didnt witness what happened but the bystanders was saying that if he only has helmet on hi might have been alive. even you are a safe driver, accidents happens. police are fining as so we wont have to do it again.

Hi there naseefu, what bad luck for you but it is better to wear one and be safe then have an accident and be permanently brain damaged! I am just glad that you are safe! In the UK where helmets have to be worm by anyone riding a bicycle or a motorbike. In Spain they are begining to enforce this law but some days you still see people going around without a helmet. Here in the Dom Rep almost nobody has a helmet although I think it is the law that they should wear one. There are only about 2 people that I know who wear one. Yes here in the States of America its very important to wear a hemet and its the law..too many people don't look out for bikers and crashing one here is usually a sad outcome.
