Seduction: natural or studied?

Whattup, people?I've noticed this tendency of boys to study the style of guys like Mystery, BadBoy, Ross Jeffries, Neil Strauss and others to get more successful when it comes to girls.
Now, it's true that the stuff helps in the short term. But, really, is it worth becoming a robot and doing what others say you should do (without ever questioning the truth in their words)? Or is it better to learn by doing it? Something like self-development, if you know what I mean.
I discovered the so-called seduction community 2 years ago, but I was never an enthusiastic. What's changed is my psychological approach to the problem and the fact that I'm way more balanced. I consider myself a natural rather than a player (and, yes, I was moderately successful before that).
So, what do you think? Are we for or against techniques and schemes?Girls are also invited to state their opinions.

I honestly have never understood the reason people feel they need to have tricks or schemes to "catch" someone. What on earth is wrong with just acting like you normally do? Because when the 'scheming" is over, then what happens?..... "Hey, you're not the person I thought you were." To me it would just cause too many problems. #:)
