What will you do if you can no longer pay for fuel to keep your job?

I lost it a year ago and decided to try and work at home online. I worried at first, how we were going to make it without my income, but as time went by, we found that we were saving money. I no longer had to pay for fuel to get back and forth to work. With me being at home I no longer needed to purchase items for my lunches, or drinks for at work, the biggest savings was fuel, I no longer have to make sure I have money to purchase gas to keep my job. I only go shopping when I have too, which is once a week.
I know that if I was still working I would have to beg for a raise just to keep my job, or look for a part-time job just to pay for the fuel to keep working. So what will you do when it is too expensive to keep your job?

Karen,
You know unfortunately that is becoming more reality for more of us these days. I often wonder if we could make it on just my fiances salary if I had to quit due to rising gas prices. It costs me nearly $100 to fill up my truck and only $60 to fill up his car. Thats $640 a month in gas, that is about a paycheck and a 1/2 for me. I think that if gas prices get any higher I will be following in your footsteps and staying at home trying to earn a living, or maybe get a job right around the corner, so I can walk or ride my bike.
