Mobile phones love or hate,I hate them when they are used by drivers. They are driving with one hand and not thinking what they are doing. I witnesed an accident and the young girl was shouting at the other driver, it was her fault and she had a young baby in the car, She took a risk and ran out of luck? I love them when my children ring, its the only way they keep in touch as phone boxes are out, and there is not enough around. very far and few where I live one every two miles? I keep mine with me at all times, If im driving I never answer unless I can pull in and park. Very handy if you break down! Give some input on this?

I love mobiles - My youngest is desperate for one but it will be a few years yet as she is only 6 and there is no way she is getting a mobile phone! I don't know if I could let my 14 year old son out and about as much as he gets without a mobile as I need to know where he is and that he is alright - he has been bullied in the past and in this day and age you really can't take a chance with your kids!
As for driving with a mobile bluetooth headsets are relatively inexpensive and mean that you can drive in a lot more safety and still take your calls without breaking the law then you can! xxx

You are so right on people using them when driving and what is even worse the ones that text message while driving. My daughter is one of them. I have a headset for my phone but I am not on it that much. As you say it is good for when someone needs to get a hold of you in an emergency or your kids just need you. Very handy if you break down too. I finally made my husband get a trac fone since he does not use much but at least I can get a hold of him especially since we live in Iowa and lots of snowstorms. I think they are good when you need them and use them right and bad when use them driving down the road.

For me,mobile phone is good for adults and those aged above 18 years of age wether male or female, and i strongly against kids or minors using mobile phones because it's not good for them,it's a bad influence for them..While we adults need this kind of gadget for our daily lives especially if we are working.

i hate phone when i get all the calls the world when i expect them the least.and its always the same story with me.when i want no calls to disturb me that's the time the phone rings the maximum number of times.though i feel that mobile phone is a great invention because no more you have to fret over some person in your life to know about his whereabouts or whether he's fine or not.you can know that instantly by just calling a number.

It will only be bad if you are using it at the wrong time, I mean texting while walking and driving it can cause accident. It could be good if you are using it at the right time... which you are safe.

I do use mine while driving but not on a regular basis. My cell is on only when I am not home. If one of our kids calls, I do answer no matter where I am or what I am doing when I'm away from the house. I'm not comfortable driving in traffic and chatting on the cell. Last year I had a flat tire driving on a bridge in our area. This isn't the first time my cell phone has really come in handy while I was out and had a car issue. I love mine but think it needs to be used on a limited basis while driving especially if traffic is heavy and people are changing lanes and driving like maniacs. My attention needs to be focused on the highway instead of the conversation.

I never have my phone turned off, but I never answer it while im driving I always pull over and put my hazzards on! I wouldnt be to pleased if someone crashed into me while chatting on there mobile, I would make sure the police charged them for careless driving whilst useing a mobile? They are a god send when you break down I agree.

well i think that mobile phones are actually important to our lives, since we can contact people where ever they are, the thing that makes us less worry about people, but, this technologie has a lot of bad effects especially on our health, cause it can generate cancer in our body which a very dangerous thing

There are so many advantages of this amazing mobile communication technology. You always close to everyone you love/know that you have the contact number, you always easy to ask for help when there's an emergency, you can make decision faster cause you can get information very fast just through your mobile phone and a lot more advantages. But there are also disadvantages of using mobile phone, you have no privacy and cannot run away from someone whose looking for you, you tend to unaware about your security when using it at time you doing other jobs or activity like driving, it can explode if there's something wrong with the battery usually because of overheat as so on. But, comparing the negative and positive, the positive is still far infront.

There is always a time and place to use a cellphone. Driving is definitly not one of those good times to use it. That girl was wrong to do that especually when her baby was in the car with her. Sometimes I just want to shake those people to wake them up! I can see if your car is on the fritz and it's broken down then yeah it's appropriate to use the cellphone because that's an emergency situation.
I only take my cellphone when I'm going to work. I have a long distance to drive to work and when I get there, I call my hubby to let him know I've got there safely. When I call him that means I'm already parked in the parking lot at work.. so I"m not driving when I call.

Mobile phones have become a necessity now a days. It has become an integral part of everyone's life and people use it not just for connecting with each other, but there are mobiles that connect the user with the web too.
But it is really very bad to talk while you drive. The drivers are not risking others life but also their own life. Infact in India there is a law that you cannot talk when you drive and you will be severely punished if you are caught. Though people try to park and talk, there are still a few who dont do that. It is very bad to read news that people were hit by train while crossing the track as they were talking on the mobile, or while crossing the road as they were talking on the mobile.

It is very sad to hear of people getting hurt because they were using there mobile and not paying atention to what is going on around them. Here in the UK you get a heavy fine if you are caught, It should be a night in prison that would shook a few people wouldnt it~?~

Mobile phones are definately a good thing to have to keep in touch with family and friends, I do talk on the phone at times while driving, as less as possible because cell phones keep you from concentrating on the road. I don't understand how people text while driving.

Cell phone, in now a days, will play the vital role in the humans life.. Infact, if you see the majority of the Celebraties like AR Rahran and some of the other top celebraties, who have got their first chance in the industry through their cell phone only, if they doesn't have their cell phone, or if they missed to bring themself when they go to college or somewhere, they never get their opportunity, and they will not become this much popular in the worldwide..
But using of the same in the human being ie., in our hand, all the electronic, and the recent findings and the innovations are playing the better role in human's life, but usages of the same will be in our hands, if we use the same in the positive nature, we will make use of the positive side of the products, but if we are in the other side, the inventor is not responsible for the same..
Have a good day.
