I have had the same trouble on many occasions at the movies and as a result stopped going a few years ago. I prefer watching movies in the comfort of my own home. There are so many benefits too. I don't have to listen to people being rude and talking over the film, I can smoke as much as I want, get a drink or food (for no charge) and go to the toilet whenever I want. The best thing is not having to miss anything with the ability to pause the film, unlike at the movies when you either miss loads of the film or sit in pain, desperate for the toilet, not wanting to miss anything.

Hi isis,
I see you are new so welcome first of all and I hope you are enjoying it here.
I have never had the experience but here is a story of one that just might have been bad...
When I had went to see Transformers last year, I got there what I thought would have been early, boy was I wrong! The cinema was already 3/4 packed and there were so many other people waiting to buy tickets still!
When I got in there I switched my seat about 4 times before I found a seat that I wasn't being blocked by someone else *rolls eyes* Anyway, I was sitting there comfortably waiting for the movie to start and playing Snake on my cell when this group of 3 girls came and were so bold faced to tell me if I can't move from the seat I was sitting in. I was like no I can't move from this seat and go in the seat at the end because I am being blocked by the person sitting in front. They got all huffy and were like, would you just move! (note this is before the movie started btw!) I said "No! I got here early just to get a good seat!" Then a man behind intervened and told the girls, "It's true, I saw her sitting at the end for a a minute and then moved to this seat so she could see better." I just smiled at the guy. So one of the girls then says "Fine, you'll just have to be in the middle of our conversation during the movie." Boy well that pissed me off...I was like, "If you come to a movie just watch the movie! If you want to talk go outside and talk!" Well I got no response after that and I they sat down with one girl at the end, me in the 2nd seat and the other two on the seats to the right. Boy, I was just waiting for them to start talking, I would have given them hell! But you know, they actually stayed quiet through the whole movie! I was with the crowd in the movie and just going along with all the "clapping and whistles and oohhs, etc" I was having tons of fun by myself, but boy, did I shut them up!
I told my dad, boyfriend and co-workers about my experience with the girls and my dad and boyfriend were like, if they wanted to start trouble you could have just called me. I said, "Nah, I know how to handle myself."
I am a really nice person but when I get annoyed I make it known that I don't take crap anyone.
Maybe you should get tough on some of your talkers!

Oh yeah I know how you feels. If they want to talk they should go outside or something. Sometimes, i see people talking on cellphones _ I remember there was a bunch of teenagers laughing and yelling...it was like that during the whole movie. That's why I go at movies during evening more than afternoon because there are more people and 1 against the whole would be scary ^_~ If it happens again, you don't have to do much. Just stare at them till they ask you are staring at him or they will feel bad so they will stop.
