What is an HD-TV and what are it's features?

I will try my best here, for my fiance is the true HD expert in the house, we have an HD TV and you will never notice a difference unless you buy an HD DVD player or a Bluray player, also with cable tv you will not notice a difference unless you order HD Cable from your provider. Let me tell you once we did all the above and finally got to watch a DVD in HD it was truelly amazing I had felt as though I was blind for all the last 26 years and someone had just put glasses on me. The picture quality was amazing.!!!
