If UFO's are discovered to be real, don't you thiunk it would cause total chaos in the [religious] world?
I mean, millions and millions of christian/catholic people's beleifs would be majorly questioned; they believe God created just Earth and the beings on it, right?
With technology advancin so quickly and some country's govt's [like Mexico, Brazil and I think the UK] are becoming more open to the investigation of UFO existence it's possible that aliens could be discovered soon. What do you think about this?

Hi megumiart, I believe that there is life on other planets, and as some of them are probably much further advanced that we are, UFO sightings are likely real. I don't believe this should cause any dilemma for the religious world. After all people believe that God created the universe and at one time Christians believed the world was flat. Blessings.

Wher did you hear that Christinas believe God created only the earth? Thos who truly believe in God believe he is the creator of the universe. If he is intelligent enough to create life on this planet, why can't he be intelligent enough to create life on another planet? And what would happen to all the scientists faith in their religion of stastical evidence, when the "aliens" prove the existance of God?

I agree, but I do not beleive the "aliens" are going to try to prove that God exist, rather they will decieve all into believing they are the god/gods of the bible. and everyone will be decieved except those who know what they realy are.

Angels are difeffernt from the Sons of God, and I have not found any reference to angels behaving badly. The only rebels mentioned in the Hebrew, Akkadian, Ugarit text are called Elhim or bene Elohim, The word for angel is malachim, Some verses in our bible translate angel wrong, mainly becouse the word Elohim, Elohim is the name mainly used for God. When used for God it is singular, but offten it is used as plural when talking of other gods. and the bene or sons of God. Although the "aliens" could be angels, they are more likely the sons of god mentioned in Gen. 6:1-7.

That all ties in with why most religions consider studying alien life forms or anything that deviates from their core principal a sin. If it were discovered that there were other life forms elsewhere it would completely cave in their "hand of god" theory. Personally I think it is a little egotistical to think that humans are the only form of life in the galaxy, universe and unchartered areas of space.

Well, think about it...did the Bible say anywhere that it ONLY created earth and humans? No, it just focused on them, so I see no logical reason for people to spaz out if aliens are discovered to be real on a religious level..but goodness knows, people aren't logical as a rule, so they'll prolly go ahead and freak out anyway.

where in scripture does it say God only created life on earth??on the contrary I am a christian who most certainly believes there could be life elsewhere for scripture clearly says
in John 10 :16 16. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
could these other sheep not be his people on other planets???

Aha! I've never read that verse with that view. You are probably very right. I've posted in another discussion similar to this, and threw my idea of other worlds such as ours in other galaxies. And the thought of life in a different universe. Who says this universe is the only one out there?

UFO's are mentioned in the Bible as Cheriots of fire (and other descriptions as well) in several places, and it hasn't made any difference in Religious circles. Religion is a Man-made business which has thrived for more than 1500 years, and a UFO or Two isn't going to change anything any time soon!

I sure hope not, i don't think we are peaceful enough to meet some sort of alien life just yet. Maybe when we all settle down and stop trying to take each others heads off we would be more open to an alien encounter. And god created the heavens and the earth and everything else that's around us. It's all up to the big guy!

I don't see why? Just because there are aliens doesn't disprove Christian beliefs.G-d created the universe they believe so why not aliens on other planets.
