You are so right. You need to balance all that you do on here. You responses need to be adding something concrete to the conversation and should be around 4 - 6 sentences minimum. Starting conversations is important as well. Because if nobody started them, what would we talk about lol. I usually start about 4 - 5 a day and I try to make those a minimum of 6 sentences as well.
And upload photos. The day that I uploaded 3 photos I did better than any other day earnings wise even when some days I actually posted more.
thanks for bringing this important information out.

Hey Kat... what are you saying lol.
Ok seriously.
I've actually cut the amount of time I spend on here. I am becoming more efficient at it. I can usually log in later in the day. I respond to all my friends posts that interest me, that usually gives me 10 or 15 and takes very little time. (of course I type fast) Then I might post a couple of my own and answer a few interesting things. Then I take a break for a couple of hours and do some other things or watch tv or take a walk. Then I come back on in the evening and post the rest of what I need for the day.
Honestly I have only been doing between 25 and 35 posts a day and it doesn't take as long as it was a week ago lol. And I'm doing relatively well.
And to the other comment, I know that not everyone has 9 hours to spend here a day. I don't do that unless I'm extremely bored and not working that day. I have other programs to work and a family to spend time with. Trust me I have busy days most of the time too and I balance things quite nicely. It's a matter of setting my goals and priorites.

to be honest i tend to respond more to toics than i do start them, i dont really have much to say to start a topic lol but as soon as i see a topic i am interested in then i will respond, i only reply to topics i am interested in tho and ignore the ones i am not.

I am more of a responder than a topic starter myself. This may or not change depending on whether I have anything to say that has any potential of being a good discussion. I am not sure how much starting a discussion will help you in your earnings but you definitely do need a fair number of responses in order to see a noticeable difference. I think pictures do help also when you have one to accompany your discussion. It gives it a nice visual as well. I don't know all of the secrets still but I am enjoying my time on here making a few extra dollars when time allows, I can tell you that much!

I think you have the right idea. also make sure you have 4-5 lines for all your responses. A quality response if worth more to myLot. And most certainly add photos to your discussions - besides the earnings, it makes it more interesting to those of us on myLot - looking at photos is fun.
