I went to court April 29th to try to get full custody of my kids, since their dad has only seen them 2 times in 6 years and he rarely pays child support I assume that wont be a problem. He had agreed to sign his rights away so my husband can adopt them. He tells the judge Im just gonna sign my rights away cause I am tired of the bickering. (I thought you had to actually speak to someone to bicker with them.)The judge then after he justt said he was gonna sign them away asks him do you want them this weekend? He says and I quote "uh, uh, uh, I cant take them cause I live with my mom right now (33years old)and I dont have a way to go get them but I can go to her house (points at me) and see them for a couple of hours but then I gotta go home. The kids don't want anything to do with him but the judge said the kids have no choice. WTF!!!! Why not I mean this is the man who walked right out of their lives 6 years ago He bascially never looked back. He has seen them 2 times in 6 years So why the heck would my kids not have a choice. He is a stranger to them, needless to say he didn't get his court order and she put the case off for 60 days so he could get an attorney grrr why he needs one is beyond me but oh well. Has anyone else ever experienced something so crazy?? This whole situation makes me want to just SCREAM!!!
