I have come up with a few tips, that are pretty basic and everyone knows about them, but I think few students acutally DO them. 1.) Prepare mentally before the semester or term. Tell yourself and visualize getting A's in every class and on every project. 2.) Read the texts. Most of us in college prefer to skip the reading of the texts. Reading the course material will make it much easy for you to study for quizes and exams since you will just be reviewing the material and not cramming a bunch of new info the night before. 3.) GO TO CLASS!! I can not stress how detrimental going to class is to success of students! 4.) Take accurate lecture notes. DONT write down every word the professor says and dont write too little that you dont remember the main points of the lecture. 5.) Take 5-10 minutes a day to review Lecture notes and any important class materials. 6.) If the professor hands out study guides, work your way through them in sequence with class lectures. STARTING EARLY HELPS YOU REMEMBER MORE INFO and ACCURATE INFO.

Those are some gret tips you got there! =D Some others that i include in my study routine is re-writing/re-typing the notes. I have found that this really helps alot when it comes to remembering facts, dates, information, etc. It also helps when you read and study from your notes because normally, when you take notes in class, you tend to write quickly, messily, and may even abbreviate alot. By re-writing it, you make a clean and easily legible copy to study from when a test comes around.
