I go to my friends' profile everyday looking for a discussion that they started such as this one that I have not already posted on and I post if I can relate to the discussion. I do that with each one of my friends profiles. It revives their discussion sometimes and other people begin posting on it. It helps them and it helps me by giving me something I can post on that takes more than a "yes" or "no" answer. I don't know about anyone else but I am still having problems with being notified of my friend's new discussions.

thank you your response was very helpful. It would have been the best response but for some reason someone else got it. I don't think I knew what I was doing yet.

I go to my friends profiles first for discussions, or to the "discussions my friends start" page. It makes it easier to find good quality discussions.

I try to go and respond to at least one discussion by my friends each day. Does two things, gets them responses and helps me find subjects that might be interesting to respond to.
