The strength of mothers

We all know that when need be mothers can draw upon amazing strengths. This is an inbuilt system which comes into play when it is most needed. I just came across a story of a new young mother who walked down to the hospital after giving birth to have the umbilical cord cut http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=457213 What sort of parenting strength have you ever had to draw on?

Although I am not a mother, I can understand that mothers have their own strength that no man could dare question. That story of a mother you mentioned is just one instance of bravery showed by a mother. There are numerous stories of mothers who did amazing and wonderful things for something or someone. Happy mother's day to all mothers!
