I wish I had great in-laws that I could feel comfortable around and loved. Sadly, I don't. I can't stand them and honestly hate visiting them. Last year, while my husband was deployed, I stayed with them for two months with my daughters. Things were fine for two/three weeks and then all hell broke loose. They told me they were going to have me put in a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, that they were going to send me away without my daughters, tried to have me arrested for child abuse, said they were going to report me to social services and that they would never let me have my kids. Because of all of this I have truely grown to hate and dispise them. I would love to be able to have a close relationship with them like my mother has with my father's mother. Too bad for me.

That completly sucks for you. I could not imagine having in-laws like that. I would just not let them see their grandchildren until they shaped up.

LOL Thankfully I do not have a Marie Barrone for a mother in law! My in-laws are great! They aren't too nosey or anything. They let us have our space. But they also live on the east coast, we live in Nevada. Even when we lived in the same city, they weren't in our business.
