a truth is as true as a straight line straight

The line which appears to us to be straight is actually not straight.Every line is acturally a curve. If you start drawing a straight line and keep on walking with your line from one place, one day, having gone around the earth, you will reach the same spot whence you had started.
Now,about the truth we can say that the present truth remains a truth until a new truth replaces it.What we have started believing in is a kind of truth for us,but tomorrow a better truth will prove that our past truth was a lie.
Truth is as straight as a line appears to be straight.
J.S.Mill says,"We can never catch the bird of truth".He is right in saying so , for we get only particles of truth in our lives. There is a beautiful story related to it:
A scholar set out to catch the bird of truth. He had seen the bird of truth flying over a high precipice. He decided to climb that rock.He started cutting steps in the rock and started his climb. After many years,he managed to reach on top.To his amazement, there was another cliff which was not visible from his vantage point at the bottom.Undismayed, he began to carve steps again. He spent his whole life in cutting the steps of stone. Finally,he reached on top,but he hardly had any breaths left. Before dying,he uttered,"We can never catch the bird of truth but whosoever tries to catch it will have to climb the steps which I have made."
He died there and a feather of the bird floated down and settled on his dead body.
The wisdom is that every new knowledge adds to the past knowledge.Every present truth is only transitory and it will definitely be replaced by another.

To Me truth is something that never changes, this is how people who tell lies get caught out, they actually forget what they have saif to whom..but because truth never changes one can not get caught out, because you just stick to what actually happened..I don't tell untriths simply because i don't have a good memory...things are as they happened...
