Have you ever served on jury duty? How was it?

I received a postcard asking me to come in. But I wrote them back saying I couldn't because I was a student working part time and I couldn't afford to miss work, etc. They let me off the hook! :)

No. You know on that one TV show the comedian says "I dont like the idea of being judged by people who were to stupid to get out of jury duty." I would love to surve for jury duty. But I have never been called to do it. My aunt gets called for it all the time but she always tells them that it is aginst her religion to judge otheres. (Which i think it really is) I would love to do if i ever get the chance though

I have had to jury duty once. I was there at the courthouse all day long, I was never picked so I didn't end up being a jury or anything. It was just a long boring day. I didn't mind it too much though.

No, I've never been called to serve. My husband, however, was called a number of times. He found that it was only very seldom that he had to go to the courthouse. He called a # every Sunday, and usually the recording told him that he didn't have to appear that week.
